Yes, we are licensed by the State of Washington and therefore follow the Washington Administrative Code. Our licensor's information is available upon request.
Do you accept Working Connections Child Care subsidies through DCYF?

Do you offer meals?
Yes! Breakfast, lunch and two snacks are provided to students daily. All major meals are made from scratch and follow the USDA guidelines.
Is there a cut off on what time I can bring my child for the day?
Yes, please have your child situated into the classroom by 10:00 AM. This allows our day to run as smoothly as possible.
Do children have to be potty trained to attend?
No! We will partner with families to work on potty-training when it is developmentally appropriate for the child. We require you provide the diapers, but we provide the wipes.
What are some ways you continue to improve your program's quality?
We are proud participants of Early Achievers. This is Washington's quality improvement program that is evidence-based and comes with a coach for each program! EA is required of all programs who accept Working Connections subsidies through DCYF.
Are you a religious program? What about holidays?
Honey Hill School does not follow any religious based curriculum. We welcome clients of all faiths and backgrounds. We do not discriminate against any group of people and do not tolerate such behavior in our program. As for holidays, we do observe the standard celebrations such as birthdays, Christmas (the winter season in general) and Halloween. We invite families to share their own cultural celebrations and traditions with Honey Hill to further strengthen our School Family.

Are you closed for holidays or school breaks?
We are closed three weeks a year in accordance with the Ferndale School District calendar - two weeks around Dec. 25 and the week of spring break. We also observe federally recognized holidays throughout the year. Clients are provided closure lists at enrollment.
